QA Engineer

Description

Our team is seeking a QA Engineer that will bring quality assurance and technical expertise to test core business processes across several business applications developed with the latest technologies from Microsoft and Salesforce.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing manual and automated test cases related to the following areas: UI, API, security, system performance, log monitoring, network/protocol analysis, and installation/configuration.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing business systems processes
  • Conduct manual and automated testing, ensuring robust software performance and functionality
  • Proactive review of ongoing system changes to assess impact on existing test automation
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through to resolution
  • Provide accurate task estimates and status reports
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance
Qualifications
  • Experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
  • Experience using programming languages (e.g., C#, Python, Java) in writing automated tests
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with the SDLC
Preferred Skills 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Experience with REST API testing
  • Proficiency in testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright)
  • Proficiency in common software engineering tools (e.g. Git, Kanban)
  • Experience with Salesforce and SaaS Quote-To-Cash processes a bonus
